Using Nextopia With Volusion

Exporting Product Data From Volusion

In your Admin Area, go to Inventory > Volusion API.

In the Generic section, click Run Generic\Products.

Select the check box for the * option. This should be the first row.

Click Run.

The page is reloaded, showing an URL to be use as a feed for Nextopia. Select and copy this URL.
Importing Product Data Into Nextopia

Log in to Nextopia.

Click on DevZone > Datasource and paste the URL from the above procedure into the text box.

Click Update.
Adding the Nextopia Code to Your store
Once you���ve linked your product feed into Nextopia, you���ll need to add their code to the search form on your storefront. The code will be provided to you by Nextopia, and will look something like this:

where "youraccount" would be replaced with the account name for your store.
This code snippet needs to be pasted in place of the following:

which you will find in your active template.html file.
If your theme shows
You will also need to change the template.css file to maintain the proper display. To do this, open the "template_nnn.css" file in the file editor. Scroll down until you see display_search_box{ . Again, remove _box (be careful not to delete the curly bracket!) and save the changes.
