Site Designer: Adding a Block

Adding features to your Volusion store is now as simple as adding a Block in Site Designer. Need a Contact Form, a Blog or an embedded video? We have you covered, and so much more. Check out our video and follow the steps below to add a Block to your store.�



To add a Block from Site Designer, first access Site Designer from from your store's Admin Dashboard. Choose�Design > Site Designer�from the main drop-down menu.


If you are not currently using Site Designer, or do not have access from your menu, please�contact us�for assistance.

If you are not currently logged in to Site Designer, you will need to log in using your Admin Email and Password.



To add a Block to your site, mouse over your current Theme until you see a purple circle with a plus icon in it. Click this circle to open the Block menu.


The Block menu will display on the left side of the page. It offers a variety of Block types. Scroll through the menu until you locate the type of Block you are interested in. Click the section to open the menu to choose your specific Block.



To add your specific Block, locate the Block you wish to use and click the blue Add Block button.



The Block will now be added to your Theme. To edit the Block, locate it on your Theme, mouse over it and click the gray Edit button.



Clicking the Edit button will open the Edit Block menu. Choose the section you wish to edit by clicking the section and you can begin making your edits. Click the Done button when you are finished.
