Product Stock Quantity

As a store owner, you always want to make sure that youve got the goods to deliver on customers demands. And we want that for you, too.

Thats why Volusion makes it easy to display a products stock quantity on its product page. This way, you always know exactly how much you have in stock and youre never left empty-handed.

To set it up ...

1. Go to any products Advanced Info > Stock section

2. Enter any quantity into the Stock Status field (including 0 and negative numbers)

Now each time the item is purchased, your store will automatically subtract one from the Stock Status value.

To display the Current Stock Quantity on the products page

1. Go to Inventory > Products

2. Click the three-dot actions menu icon and select All Products Settings

3. Select the Display Current Stock Quantity checkbox and the Display Stock Status checkbox

Now the quantity in stock will display if the stock status value is 1 or more. If the stock status value is 0 or less, you will see Out of Stock for the quantity.

Whats more, you can also track the stock of products in your inventory and even set up automated reordering when stock is running low. How convenient is that?!
