Installing a Third-Party JavaScript, for Developers

If you are using a third-party marketing or live chat system, you may have to insert one or more custom JavaScripts into your store before it will function. For these cases, we provide a special field in your Admin Area. To install a custom script:

  1. Copy the script text provided by the third-party service (highlight and either press CTRL + C, or right-click and select Copy).

  2. Log in to your Admin Area.

  3. Go to Marketing > SEO.

  4. With the Default Values tab selected, paste the the text into the Globally Appended Meta Tags field (either press CTRL + V, or right-click and select Paste).

  5. Save.
