All About Sandboxes

A sandbox is a store used exclusively for testing purposes. It's not live to customers and is unable to accept orders.

 Reasons Volusion Merchants May Request a Sandbox

1. You want to make changes to your theme and see them in action before making the same changes separately on your live store.
2. You want to see what a premium theme you purchased looks like with your categories, products, and navigation menu structure before publishing the theme separately on your live store.
3. You're an official partner (reseller, affiliate, or technology partner) who wants to show your client what their store would look like on Volusion to entice them to purchase.
4. You're a prospective integrator who wants to test the Volusion platform, but you need access to features not available on our [14-day free trial](https://www.volusion.com/free-trial?v=1).
