# Adding New Shipping Methods to the Tracking Dropdown

This article covers how to add new custom shipping methods to the Tracking section of the [Order Details](https://help.volusion.com/s/ordershowtoprocessorders?hsLang=en-us) page.

A shipping method must have a gateway assigned to it before it will appear in the Shipping Method dropdown in the Tracking section.

- Create the new shipping method at *Settings \> Shipping* and select **Other** from the Gateway dropdown in Advanced Settings.
- Once the new method is saved it will appear at the top of the list in the shipping method drop-down on the order.
