Creating Free Shipping Coupons

Free shipping is good for you and your shoppers. It can increase order values, especially if you create a free-shipping threshold. And it can turn casual consumers into happy, loyal customers.

So, of course, we made it easy for you to create Free Shipping Coupons:

  1. From your store's Admin Dashboard, chooseMarketing > Coupons/Discounts.

  2. Click Add.

  3. In the Discount Type menu, select Free Shipping on ENTIRE ORDER.

  4. Click the Coupon checkbox and add a coupon code below.

  5. Fill in your other fields as appropriate (See Coupons / Discountsfor more info), and click the Save button at the top right of the page.

You now have a coupon code, just waiting to be shared with your loyal customers any method you choose, like via email or social media.

Keep in mind, free shipping coupons and discounts override all Free Shipping Method settings configured at Settings > Shipping.

??? A Heads Up for QuickBooks Users

Free shipping coupons can't be imported to QuickBooks. To fix this problem, you'll need to delete the coupon from an order before importing it.
