This article covers the Carts section of the Analytics app.

This section provides information about your conversions. You can see your conversion rate and your abandon rate on the chart. It displays your conversion rate by default:

To your right, you can view your average number of items per cart and the average value of your carts.

Abandoned Cart Data

Volusion classifies a shopping cart as abandoned after it goes six hours without an update. To view data about individual carts, press View Details.

This information is available to stores on the Professional and Business plans. If you're on the Personal plan, you can upgrade at your convenience.

The list shows the following details of each abandoned cart:

  • a unique ID number
  • the number of items the cart contains
  • the date the cart was created
  • the date it was last updated
  • the shopper's email address (if they provided it)
  • the value of the cart

Press the row associated with any cart to see information about the items in the cart and the shopper's personal details.

You can use these details to gain a greater understanding of which items, customers, and shopper locations are converting at a lower rate, and you can even reach out to the shopper. If the shopper didn't provide personal information before abandoning the cart, the Customer section will be empty.
