Activating the updated version of PayPal is quick and easy. If you are already an existing PayPal user, click HERE for directions. If not, visit PayPal's site to sign up for a new business account. Then login to your Volusion store's Admin Dashboard.

Directions for New PayPal Merchants

On the Left Navigation menu, navigate to the Settings icon and click it.

On the main Settings page, click the Payments tab at the top center of the page.

Scroll down to the PayPal section and click the Connect button.

Enter the credentials for your PayPal account in the pop-up that appears, and click the Log In button.

Your Volusion store should now show Account Connected in the PayPal section, and show your PayPal Merchant Payer ID (redacted in image). Ensure that the ‘PayPal enabled’ toggle is set to ‘active’ (showing yellow).

Your store is now set up to accept payments with PayPal.

Directions for Existing PayPal Merchants

Login to your store's Admin Dashboard.

On the Left Navigation menu, navigate to the Settings icon and click it.

On the main Settings page, click the Payments tab at the top center of the page.

In the PayPal section, click the Upgrade button and follow any additional directions from PayPal.

PayPal Pay Later Messaging

To enable Paypal's Pay Later messaging in your store's cart and on the checkout page, make sure the Pay Later Messaging enabled slider is set to active (showing yellow).

The messaging will appear in your store's cart and on the checkout page.
