When your customers add items to their carts, the cart preview pane appears automatically. On most themes for desktop devices, it'll appear on the right. For tablet and mobile displays, it may cover the entire screen.
The shopper can use the quantity boxes to change the number of units for each item in the cart:
They can also use the + and - symbols, if available in your theme. Alternatively, they can press the arrow in the top left to return to your storefront and continue shopping. To return to the cart at any time, they can simply press the cart icon in your theme header.
If you offer promo codes, they can apply one here:
When finished, the shopper can must press Checkout to begin the process.
The checkout then guides the shopper through three steps.
Step 1: Contact & Delivery
The first step of checking out is to enter contact information and shipping address details. If the shopper wants to use a different billing address than shipping address, they can simply deselect Use as billing address. When they're ready to proceed to the next step, they press Continue to Shipping Method.
Step 2: Shipping Method
The next step is to select an applicable shipping method from the ones you've configured on your store. When they're ready to proceed to the next step, they press Continue to Payment & Review.
Step 3: Payment & Review
The final step is for the shopper to choose a payment method from the ones you've configured on your store. When the shopper is ready to finalize the purchase, they press Complete your order.
Throughout, a summary of the order contents remains visible. On desktop displays, it usually appears on the right. On mobile displays, it may appear at the bottom.
If they have a promo code and didn't enter it in the cart preview pane, they can enter it here by pressing Add a promo code.
Confirmation and Processing
After completing purchase, your customer will see a confirmation screen. You can then process the order in your Admin Area,
