This article is for Stripe users who want to offer an Apple Pay option to shoppers who use the Safari browser.
Apple Pay offers shoppers a way to store payment methods on their local devices for convenient input when checking out during an online shopping session.
Set up Apple Pay
To offer this option:
Open your Settings app.
Press the Payments tab.
In the Apple Pay section, flip the Enable Apple Pay toggle to the on position.
Now, eligible customers will receive the option to use a payment method stored in Apple Pay to check out on your store! You can then process the transaction through Stripe normally.
Apple Pay on Product Pages
You can also display the Apply Pay option on product pages for convenient one-click checkout. This is a good option to help streamline single-product purchases for your shoppers. The downside is that it will discourage customers from continuing to shop and putting more items in the cart.
To enable the option:
Flip the Show Apple Pay button on product pages toggle.
Keep in mind that Apple Pay is not available for customers using Volusion Payments at this time.
For more information about payment options, see "Settings App: Payments".
